Welcome to all US visitors here over the US Memorial Day long weekend! A few ideas for you: Check out the “Buy Local” trade fair at the Canmore Rec Centre, bike ride the Legacy Trail, hike up Grotto Canyon or explore the Hoodoos or the secret Billy Carver pioneer cabin near Johnson Lake.

Available at most Canmore book and sports stores and the Art in the Park show beside the NWMP Barracks in Canmore — you may even meet a real Mountie – or, in Banff at the Explorerockies, Friends of Banff, Banff Mountain Art and Indian Trading Post stores. Be sure to end the day by toasting our allied armed forces troops at the Banff or Canmore Legion Halls. Enjoy!
